While at Auburn University

When I landed at Auburn, somehow starting from the day 1; I felt this is Home. Many seniors helped me. I stayed at a senior’s house for 4 to 5 days before moving to an apartment with roommates on West Glenn. 

Some things about my department at Auburn University - 

• The department was always at a walkable distance even when we moved 2 to 3 apartments. Most of the apartments came with furniture; this is a benefit of being part of a school town. 

• Most of the labs, etc. in the department were always open - yes, 24 x 7. This is amazing; no one asks you and kicks you out at 10.30 pm. Because there is no point in going to an apartment where bachelors study, yes Study …

• Printer was free in my department.  

• I worked at Terrell Dining Hall and some other places. I have an old W2 from it. 

• A very good sidewalk exists so I used to run on it - too good. 

• Later I played tennis for some time with friends. I thought my serve was like Andy Roddick. The facility is very nice. 

My Adviser allowed me to attend industry conferences. It really helped shape my perspective. 

On festivals and gamedays the entire town lights up. You feel, where do all these people come from? It's amazing to be there. 

We used to go to a churn nearby because table tennis tables were there. I only went there on weekends because they had pizza. Thank you for the pizza.

Football and Toomer's corner tradition are mesmerizing. 

If Auburn wins, everyone in the town is happy ...

Then there was Switzerland. Experience of a lifetime.
