I was at The Start Up Circle last month - 2026

I am Swagat Irsale and I am a Growth Advocate who guides start ups and scale ups in growing revenue and scaling products. 


I was at The Start Up Circle last month in 2026. 


Revenue and products always go hand in hand. 


Customer maturity, product maturity, market maturity, being early in the market, being too late in the market, pricing power, technological prowess and other factors definitely matter as well during the journey of product, revenue and company scaling.  


I was fortunate to be at the Startup Circle and express my thoughts regarding all these. I am thankful to Debjyoti Jena and The Startup Circle for the collaboration. 


Here are some of the key questions and related pointers - 


1 - How to scale into a new geography? 


From India to the US >> Scale along the way ... 🥇


Priyanka Chopra Jonas is the perfect example. 

- Establish yourself in India. 

- Launch in the US. 

- Adapt, absorb challenges along the way.

- Think very long term.

- Never stop learning and growing.


Bollywood to Hollywood; people have been doing this for very long; software is the same ... 🏆


2 - What is a definite lever for scaling? 


Experiment with multi-product. Sooner the better ... 🙋

Questions will be answered along the way to become a Unicorn.


- Why will multi-product work? Which sales channels? How long will it take for each channel to yield sales deals/ revenue? 

- How much time, money and resource commitment will be needed for the new product/s? Why will a channel/ partner work with all of our products? 

- ARR, stage of the company, product maturity, market synergy, platform mindset, flywheel, execution - everything and more matters … 🏆  

- PMF to scale is a unique need to be done for each product.


PS - The underlying financial equation for this may not make sense most of the time. And that is expected.

However, it can be done, it has to be done, someone has to do it … 🏍️


3 - How can we use data to grow revenue? Can it be done? 

Is it expensive?  


I burned 300 calories and I ate 400 calories. This data is Sh*t.


- This data will work only if you have a belly and fabulous grey hair like me. 

- This kind of data will not work even in college sports … 🤣 

- Imagine the kind of data you will need if you are MS Dhoni/ Messi / PM Modi.


This is the stages, definition of data at scale.


My point is = How do you use data/ insights from existing customers to generate more revenue? How, what data did MS Dhoni use to win?


No comment on any election … 🏆


PS - True story - Stage 1 = 5 years back, EDA/ statistical analysis on a hundred plus customers data took 1 week.


Now gpt tools can do it in 30 minutes. So faster decision making. 

Wow.

Software, software, software for the greater good  …
